Raymar Morgan, Five-Star camper, hit a critical free throw and his double double led a great State effort to get to the Final Four through injuries and adversity.
Morgan was an all-star at Five-Star Pittsburgh.

Nolan Smith, a 3-year Five-Star camper, led Duke over Baylor to advance to the Final Four. Smith's career high of twenty-nine points came from terrific drives and precision outside shooting.
Smith, Lance Thomas and Tweety Carter were in the same Five-Star August Super Session together.

Brad Stevens, was a player at Depauw University had aspirations to coach. He volunteered coach at Carmel High School while working at Eli Lilly. Long-time Five-Star Hall of Fame Coach, Pete Smith called and recommended Brad to work Five-Star. Brad was a terrific asset on staff. He had a passion for basketball and his gift was apparent. He was a terrific stationmaster and coach at Five-Star.

Frank Martin was one of Florida's greatest high school coaches of the 90's. He led Miami Senior High School to two state titles and a national reputation. Frank Martin worked Five-Star in 1998 bringing a few of his players including Steve Blake. At Five-Star he was known for his defensive fundamentals station.

As there was no Jr Phenom this weekend at Fordham U , I decided to go to the Hoop Mountain Elite 75 at Boston U .
The atmosphere was HOT with a lot of top notch ballers from CT Elite , Mass Jaguars , BABC & other NE clubs . I was the only player there to rep NY !
When you have gone to enough of these showcases , you learn the format is about the same . Some talking by the Director , warm-ups , skills & drills , games , All Star - MVP game .

The Kentucky State Boy's Basketball tournament has been narrrowed down to eight teams.
This tournament is argueably the best state tourney in America and there has been many March Madness moments in Lexington.

The not so Big East...
The nation's premier conference took a major hit losing three teams out of the tourney on opening night and was very fortunate to survive with last year's Final Four team, Villanova who squeaked an overtime victory.

Five-Star standouts DJ Cooper and Asown Sayles are pushing Georgetown to the brink. Leading Ohio U to a double-digit advantage over Big East giant Georgetown.
Cooper was an All-Star at the Five-Star Chicago camp and Sayles was a multi-year camper at Five-Star Pitt.
